5y ago. Saving Guitar “Defil” from 1973 - 20
That was my old, long ago work that I’m most proud - photo nr20
Saving: step by step.
Step nr25-26:
Alder color staining and first layers of transparent amber nitro lacquer (i buy normal nitro transparent lacquer and I have my way’s to color him to get color but fully transparent like colored glass.)
Nitro is huge problem, can get white after painting, can get smudges off separations by coloring or will not dry. That why people now try not to use nitro for wood. This is hard to made good, but nothing looks so good like proper nitro on guitar.
