I downloaded the GIMP software a few days ago, but haven't had the opportunity to explore yet. This sketch is my first try at doing anything, given me another five or six attempts and my normal level of mediocrity will be resumed.

The lineart took less than a minute, the tidying and colouring less than an hour, so the fact this isn't completely hideous is heartening.
