So after seeing
SonicSweeti draw a cute cyborg recently, I realized that I'd never asked her to draw Sara in armour before, and given she's a big anime fan as well I figured she'd enjoy the Bubblegum Crisis inspiration for the armour design. So here we have a picture of Sara as Skunkworks engaging in a rescue operation, carrying Farra off to safety, while Farra hangs on tightly because she really doesn't like heights.

Heh. Yes, I'd been looking up some of the old BGC music videos recently for other reasons, including 'Asu e Touchdown' which is the one where the video itself goes into a bit of the background recruitment of the Knight Sabres. Including Nene being hired because Celia set up a honeypot site to see who could manage to hack into it.
The big wolf chuckles, "Secret identities are cool. Even more secret body enlargings along with enlarging suit are cooler still." He earnods, "That's fair, though; I suppose I thought of it saying as much 'I am iron, Ma'am,' as Tony's in-movie admission that he is in fact the man in the iron helm and suit.

Sara nods. "Well, I have family that I still like, so I don't want them to end up being kidnapped for leverage or anything like that. Officially, none of them know my secret identity. Unofficially, yeah, most of them at least suspect. It kind of runs down the family line on the female side, so at the very least my mother and sister know it's likely. And my father and brother are no fools either. And I don't have many cousins."
The wolf nods, importantly. "No-one exists in a vacuum, more directly and closely when it comes to family, but for everyone in a shared society, really. Not that I imagine that's any great profundity to posit, more that I understand in my own fashion and wholly agree with you. I don't have a secret identity as much as a very public one to go with my more sedentarily-humble personage, both as a police officer by employment and the job's particular drafting and training circumstances being half of a two-person Therianthrope K-9 unit. I think to many people in the country I live in, I am rather famous; timing with its own sense of humour or purpose, per the day and year I was born. So I know that if someone wanted to get to me they could go after my family, whether it was based on damage to my public image or deadly danger sent their way or mine."
"I have never forgotten nor ignored the irony that had fate not chosen to allow my conception and breach, I would never have been in the first place. I was an accidental conception, occurring because the multiple birth-control and contraception methods my parents chose to use, not because my existence was ever directly intended. They had planned only for both of my older brothers, who are twenty years my senior. I don't resent this fact at all; I was not unwelcome upon my arrival nor as I grew into my manhood. But it is not difficult to find my imagination tacking off into the direction of wonder towards what everything I know has happened because I was the first registered therianthrope in Canada, born two days after C-27 passed final ratification and reading, simply because of timing. Was that of my timing, or fate's? I don't know. I doubt I ever will."
He sigh-rumbles, comfortably. "I can imagine that Tony Stark would not likely have tossed out the fact that he was in fact the Golden Avenger, as in both owner and primary pilot of the Iron Man powered suit, had he the choice in a more serious circumstance than a Marvel movie. It was a good dramatic hit in that movie, if you've seen it yourself, but with due respect to Mr. Stark, it was foolish. His 'stark' revelation led to the United States government pushing Stark Enterprises to turn over the design schematics and direct ownership of every MK-series suit to DARPA and the U.S. Military for breakdown and production of an entire military division of armoured pilots, which after he refused and ignored receipt of the potential contract for building a division of these suits, then fell to Hammer Industries, who had no intimation of being heroic with the design and use of their new armoured product."
The wolf matches the snow-and-black-striped skunks gaze with his emerald-green eyes. "Every hero understands, if I may beg your pardon, that every victory in creation or combat can lead to the rise of an adversary equaling that victory and success or a much worse adversary, shortly waiting in the shadows. Ivan Vanko, whose father helped Stark's design the Arc Reactor that both kept Stark alive and has powered all of his original generation armoured suits, designed a new series of suits- and mass-produced parallel generators to Stark's Arc Reactor- that were not designed with anything but money, avarice and revenge in mind. Stark's father was not the kind of dreamer his son Tony turned out to be, so perhaps there was some symmetry in this. Tony Stark was the atypicality and the exception to the rule in the whole mess, and that was only because of what happened to him while imprisoned in Afghanistan, and what Ho Yinsen make sure was as much a part of Stark as his novel Arc Reactor and the suit that freed him from his initial bondage."
