With a creak and a wintry whisper of frost bitten air from the outside, Chaos open the door to the house and stretch with a pitiful whine. He'd missed the bus again, of course, and took the lengthy walk from Acme Loonyversity to his home in Acme City. It of course, wasn't SO bad. He'd managed to avoid running into his nemesis Johnny Howler and his gang, and it was a warm (Warmer, at least) day in January, so the jaunt home wasn't too terrible.
"Hello? Mom?! Dad? I'm Home! ...Uh...Calamity? Pan? ....Cat?" The puppy called to the seemingly empty house. There was no one to be found in the empty home- or so he thought.
[NOOGIES!] Read the sign Calamity held up, as he pounced his younger brother, rubbing his knuckles playfully along the boy's skull, forcing a squeal from Chaos, who squirmed and wiggled underneath Calamity's assault.
"ACK! Oh no! Git off!" Chaos squeaked shaking his brother loose with a groan and reached up to rub at his head.
[Heh, How are you, lil brother?"] The sign read, and Chaos huffed quietly, crossing his arms, as he let his backpack drop to the floor behind him.
"I'm fine, fine. Where's mom or dad? Are we on our own tonight?"
[Yup. Late shifts as usual...you wanna play video games? I got you that new copy of Double Bunny Brothers 3.]
Chaos balked at the sign and tilted his head curiously, looking at his softly smiling brother with perked ears.
"You did?" He asked quietly, glancing towards the living room, where someone had already started a new game. "But...why?"
[Well, we haven't hung out in a while, and it's co-op, that's why.] Calamity's sign read. Chaos smiled quietly and nodded his head, dashing into the family room.
"I dibs player one!" He called, and yelped when his elder brother tackled him into the carpet. First player? They'd see about that.

I've had some issues about brothers and what not lately...I guess this is what I always wished for. Maybe one day, eh? Calamity and Chaos look adorable here though. A truly excellent picture. I really do love it. :D
