This Al character scares me, but this dude seems honest enough. Totally not gonna park Al right in front of the exit to the compound!
Besides, if we actually wanted to kill this dude, we'd probably would've wanted to do it another way. This is just a hunch, but if this dude's compound has machines to give suits Discharge upgrades, they probably have countermeasures to it at the ready. Something tells me these countermeasures--whatever they may be--aren't very friendly, and will Game Over us one way or another, should we activate them.
Vote A. Shadowman's nice enough to not kill us immediately, it'd be rude to not have the same common decency, even if his talk about shepherds and labyrinths are foreboding as all getout.

Their Halo just dissolved... the dude's either unfocused, or prepping an attack. Either way- they're lying. If they're the big boss they have no reason NOT to walk you into a trap. If they're not the big boss, you'll have to confront them to get some real answers. Best defense is a good offence in this situation. Move Forward: B

The whole "dissolving halo" thing might be because of him devoting his full attention to this 'Al' character. And is it really a good idea to go on a full offensive? We don't know this dude's armaments; all we have to go off is their silhouette. Besides, regardless of if this dude's the head honcho, they're clearly a cut above the chaff we've been facing, and if the Boogies' compound has several things to deliver shocks, including a literal armament station, it's not out of the question that they'd have countermeasures to our suit's ability.

Actuially, i'm more worried that the halo is breaking off into airborn nanomachines...
I don't normally play things aggressively- but this is the closest thing to a actual 'objective', we've gotten, so far. If the only other option is obediently going back into the rat maze- a maze with NO objective now, because i DON'T think he's gonna give you an escape ship, if you're not even worth his attention, AND he clearly believes that infecting you with teh Boogies is kindness. The drones have been on autopilot so far- it's likely that they'll be just as dangerious without his attention on you.

He literally said we wouldn’t have to deal with the other bodies, which I’m assuming means the other Boogies.
Remember: this is a collective consciousness. Previous encounters with the Boogies and Ozone’s own testimony following Jan 1st said as much. It’s therefore assumable that if the full consciousness is being spent on this one dude, then presumably we’re good to leave, perhaps through the bottom of the elevator shaft, as Cassandra’s other hunch suggested before this encounter.
Cassandra’s ship is probably somewhere in here. It’d make no sense to not keep it for later purposes, especially since she flew it into their turf on purpose.
I… also don’t trust the cable. Whatever purpose it serves, it’s probably gonna bite us one way or another if we mess with it.

I'm betting the ring is him assuming control of a drone to speak through. It dissolving is him releasing it.

Yeah, that could be- but I just keep thinking- If he's not controling the drones, then he's also not STOPPING the drones. Most of the drones seemed to be on autopilot, anyway.
This seems like the type of villian who will tell you to sit down, stop causing trouble, and wait your turn to get Boogied. ...makes me wanna add some chaos to this situation.

Wasn't the original plan for Cassandra's assignment to gather intel? She's just one agent, I don't think trying to zap this guy would go particularly well- then again it's the patrons decision, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sounds like a Rogue AI, I dont like it! Its reminds me of 343 Guilty Spark from Halo with their cryptic knowledge of everything thats been going on.

I'm indecisive at this point at what to do.

Ozone, off topic what would happen if Cassandra shut down the power core & emergency power for the whole facility?

I imagine the lights would go off and the vending machines wouldn't work until they're back up and running.
