I recently had a discussion with a new acquaintance - someone who understands its mythic/shamanistic aspects - about my real-life transformative experience this past summer when I acted out this fantasy in real life (without the other 'gators gathering around me, of course):

Afterwards I took a peek in the computer folder where I kept the various versions of this photomorph - and discovered a forgotten third picture that follows the ones that have been here on FA for over a year (see below) showing me transformed that much further into my saurian form. For the life of me I can't remember why I didn't post it with the first 2 way back when; whatever the reason, here it is now. (And I still intend to someday redo the entire sequence in a far more polished form.)

Just about every one of my TF fantasies involve a transformation forced upon an unwilling or unwitting victim. Apart from one or 2 lion images, this fantasy is the only one I've ever imagined with a protagonist who actively seeks out (or is called to) a transformation which he in embraces in ecstasy.
This is some deep shit (if you'll ignore the Freudian implications of that figure of speech, especially with a bog playing a big part of this TF) my brain came up with, as I never consciously think up any of these fantasies - they just come to me. (Of course I elaborate on them from that point on.) This one simply resonated with me to a degree that I had to attempt it in RL -

and while it didn't physically transform me into an actual alligator, it did connect me with some sort of external or internal source of strength I'd never been aware of before, literally the 'growing sense of power' I described in the previous picture's caption. When I wrote that a year or so earlier, I had no idea it would happen in real life but apparently something in my psyche knew what it wanted and how to get it.

I'd love to discuss this in-depth. My transformation fantasies all revolve around my search for a way to make it real. Curiously, mud has been involved...I can't really explain it, except that there are likely two factors: one, being in the mud isolates me from feeling my surroundings, much like being in an isolation chamber, floating on epsom salt-saturated water; the other is that I imagine that the mud clinging to my skin is what a coat of fur would feel like.
I pursue my transformation fantasy with the kind of zeal I've never really witnessed in anyone else. I think you may be the closest I've seen.
PM me if you want to discuss this more. I'd be happy to give you my IM information. Also, my transformation stories are on my Furtopia page: rexwolf.furtopia.org.
Good luck. I've actually experienced my transformation fantasies begin thanks to something I've been working with. It's not for everyone, but it is nevertheless fascinating stuff.

Thank you! The idea of the sepia was to give the image sort of a timeless/aged look. The original pictures were all color which I desaturated to make them blend more naturally. (Otherwise their differences in color densities & contrasts would have been very noticeable.)
Aww look. Your getting a whole bunch of new friends. Awww isn't that nice. And look. You can't hide it. But boy is it giving you such a big grin ^vvv0
Great job on this one. I definitly like the neck the most. I do have some advice though. Just on the second page of the tf. I think you should only show half of the tail poking out. That way it looks like the tail is still growing XD and in this page, just move the tail back a little bit. Shows that your body stretched a little ^vvv0 Next. Just flatten the skull just a little bit. Though keep the hair XD. And finally, ENJOY the mud

Your suggestions are well-taken, and I'm definitely planning (time allowing) to expand this into a new sequence, redoing the 3 already posted and incorporating your suggestions (and you picked up on some of the changes I'm planning to make.) For instance, I want to flatten the skull a little bit more in each successive picture until I'm flat-headed like my fellow gators.
