Even if they 'kiss and make up' she did leave Saffron alone and broken hearted after using her. Maybe afterwards Saffron can get some well deserved payback: a cabin or beach house far from civilization, some rope and optional gag to ensure she won't be running away, and some tools of the trade to 'punish' her ... like a vibrating magic wand or nice feather for some good old fashioned tickle torture. XD
Well for one she took advantage of her feelings and used that as the opportunity to steel huge amounts of wealth from the former maids employer, not caring about what could have happened to her. For all she knew she could have been executed as a coconspirator or he could have executed her in a fit of rage.
