Kion often heard his father share his theory that, when the old kings of the past went to live in the night sky, they were reborn on other planets where they would spend eternity re-living the prime of their youth and engaging in glorious battle. Kion himself would imagine himself as one of these interplanetary warriors, assuming his role as a warrior king, and fighting epic battles for the love and honor of lovely damsels. He imagines his queen, Rani, would make such a lovely princess of another planet.
