Made as a birthday gift for a friend, this is a Thestral. I made it using more basic shapes so it's not quite as detailed as the model, but it basically combines pieces from horse and dragon patterns. The head I made freehand to try and get a better shape than on the pattern I was using but it didn't work quite as well as I'd hoped as I didn't make the snout quite long enough, so it looks a little more canine than equine, but it's not too much of a problem and my friend is fine with it so it's all good :D
