Ok...this one really doesn't have a story behind it. I went and got my eyes checked last night in preparation for getting new glasses after FC. Had this pendant for a while and finally decided to do something with it while i was waiting for work to start...but what should I do with it? So i stopped in Michaels and spotted seed beads. picked out the color and sat down at my bosses desk and got to work. spent two hours designing the pendant + actually putting it together. then after I finished with what i needed to do for the night i got to work on stringing the necklace using the same colors + what was left of my clear bi cones. This was the result.
This piece uses seed beads in a deep aqua color, clear bi-cones and silver spacer beads. the pendant uses a lizard, tortoise, and a turtle charms. I used eye pins to attach the charms to the rest of the pendant and garnished the different lengths of the eye-pins with the same color seed beads as on the strung portion of the necklace. I finished off the whole thing with a barrel clasp.
I'm sorry i couldn't get a better picture of this for everyone. I will say this is by far my favorite piece Ive done so far. its elegant and yet simple....and its mine...MINE I SAY! I like the look of this for myself to put it up for sale. I dunno...i have a raising suspicion that anything I make im gonna love too much to want to sell.
I WILL SAY that if you want something similar after FC is over that I will be more than happy to look into getting more of these pendants if I can find them and make similar projects for you...perhaps interchanging the charms to fit what your looking for.
I wanna tell you that as cheap as seed beads are (I think I paid like two bucks for the vile I got and I still have a shit tone of them left)
