This is a little recipe I got from the Boston Globe from a few weeks ago :3
All you need is:
-Thin Italian breadsticks ('grissini')
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 heaping spoon of ground black pepper (I have the 5 pepper blend, but whatever)
1 package of lemur...er...regular bacon or prosciutto (which is very tasty, and not cheap, Italian sliced ham)
Thats it :3
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees...get a cookie pan and cover it with tin foil, spray with cooking spray...
Wrap the bacon/prosciutto around the breadsticks...
Mix the sugars and pepper in a separate bowl...
Coat the sticks with the sugar and bacon...
Then throw it in the oven to bake for a half an hour (the recipe called for longer- but what with the foil, it cooks a LOT quicker than that!)
Peel them off carefully and serve!
Mmmm....lemur bacon :P
