The picture will pretty much explain it all. It's taken me a few days just to get a rig worked out for the feet. Notes and diagrams all over my desk showing what is linked with what and who is controlling what lol

Some software is easier than others. I've heard that Max has a better system to do this in, but I've never used it so I couldn't say one way or the other.
Since the leg / foot / toes are done, it's now merely a duplication step for the other three legs. Then a whole lot of renaming to do. Will have to do her wing rig, then figure out how I'm going to fold up the wing membrane when they're closed. Afterwords, the main body rig, and primary head and tail. Then will have to look at a secondary control setup for the facial expressions and whatnot.
Gonna take forever. lol

Well, tbh it would take about an hour to build the rig from scratch with some extra face bones and stuff. Few mins was a bit too optimistic, unless I'd use dragon preset. :P That takes few seconds to create and maybe 5 mins to adjust it to fit the model. But generally self made rigs work better.
Sine I have it available to me, I really should learn Max :/ I've been put off by it any time I fire it up as the whole thing is very sluggish for the initial 30-60 seconds or so ( interface wise ) then it comes to its senses and works perfectly. Dunno if that's normal but it's annoying for sure. lol
