One of the first digital illustrations I did this year, and one of the first digitals illustrations I have done. Having a background in traditional illustration—watercolour, gouache, markers—I've been wanting to try out digital painting for a while now. There was a lot of experimentation with techniques, brushes, and figuring out the software itself.
