Everything that was happening to her felt as though it were occurring in slow-motion, and yet Nami still had trouble processing it...
The feel of her jeans tightening, the sound of them shredding... the sensation of her body growing warmer, heavier, so much flesh pulling her towards the deck.
The accursed Oink Oink Fruit fell from her chubby fingers as her bulk cracked the planks beneath her. A full load of cargo below not only saved her now immense ass from crashing through the hold beneath her, but likely saved the ship itself...
"Why is this happening to me?!" She managed to gasp, shocked at the new timbre of her voice. She lifted her jiggling arm before her, tasted the juices of the fruit that had done this to her still dripping from her plump lips... She gasped again as she heard the mostly broken boards creak louder under her: Even these small drops must have been adding at least a pound or more to her already colossal frame.
Nami grunted in frustration, fat hands desperately wiping the smeared juices from her soft, stained face. Whatever it was she'd been expecting to happen to her after taking that fateful bite, it certainly wasn't... this...
So you might have seen the rise and fall of Toonami's fanart submission segment over the weekend. If not, one of the pieces was of some very large ladies from One Piece done by the Japanese artist weight gain artist Nikutsuki. A shame that it was not the artist who submitted it to be broadcast, and the fact that it was paywalled content led to Toonami putting an indefinite hold on the segment to avoid any legal headaches.
That said, I felt like something ought to come of it, and despite not being too familiar with the anime/manga, I do really love how Nikutsuki draws Nami, so I was inspired to draw this pic of her that wound up as an homage to both the artist's subject matter and artistic style. Maybe I'll even get into the manga, but I hear it's some weighty reading. ;P
