As a kid, I would often go hunting for toads. My sister and I would compete for the biggest one when we would catch them, we would compare our toads. Whichever one had the bigger toad was declared the winner. Then we would release them. I think on a few occasions we kept some for a few days and then let them go cause our dad didn't want them in the house lol. We already had a lizard and tarantulas, so he didn't want any other creatures. And we would use the mealworms and crickets for our other pets to feed them. So it meant my dad had to buy more pet food lol.
I am unsure if anyone else did something similar to this when they were younger. But I made this piece mostly for my sister and I. There's keychains and stickers of it in my shop if anyone is interested in them. :3
