"Excuse me, sir, do you know where I could find the nearest dungeon?", the drake asked a rather burly minotaur wearing more leather than his hide would have produced. In hind sight, asking the question in that manner, in front of a leather bar with more men than a public roman legion's bath inside, probably wasn't the most cohesive thing that the dragon had ever done.
On the other hand, he got a party of relatively competent brawlers with decent armour, and a free restocking of his food and drinks cache when they cleared out the dungeon beneath said bar. It also made for one of the more interesting rests he'd had in a long while, once he settled down with his newfound partner in the inn beside the building, too. Who knew that bison men could play Twister so well?
Hey guys, me again, Taiko. What you just read wasn't from any actual DnD game that I've played before (although I doubt that it'd be the last if it went and was placed well. ), and as of yet all of the games I've played have been online (and not one completed campaign yet either). The character sketch, to go with my character, itself was made by the user
envy, a pretty neat guy to chat with and fairly silly at times too. It was a complete and total surprise (like virtually every other picture I've received and posted of Taiko) too, when I saw it, and something that I'm still abundantly grateful for, even if it's, well, a sketch.
Anyways, the character here is Taiko Akito, basically a port of my fursonna (no surprise there), using the d20 modern system. He's a magic user, obviously, and as an occupation he's a Hedge Mage/Wizard (the term eludes me at this moment); in this incarnation, his first, he was armed with a glass staff (seen here) and a knife/dagger (not seen here), the staff having a few effects including being alive and thus being able to recover (slowly) from damage.
As of yet, my roleplaying partners have been but four people; if you guys want to know them, or if you wanna try DnDing (blasphemy) with me, feel free to comment for it. If not, then feel free to comment anyways.
