Its a thing that you cant just google how these more or less fictional things works, but like as seen in Edge of Tomorrow or that new Chinese movie Warriors of Future... but I even took the time to browse thru my legos and get all the lego technics parts to try to replicate it with my ikea wooden artist's doll (what is a pos), but like actually trying it... me? Nope why would you do that?! To not suck at things? Nah

Yeah like in the golden age of Sci-Fi, where they tried to make things as belivable as possible (maybe also called Hard Sci-Fi).
Like how stuff were designed for Alien and Aliens, where travelling in space is not a wonder (like in Star Trek) but yet an other awful haul in a shitty job to get the next pay check in a greedy megacorp...
Well with Avalies it would be a mix of two, kinda. An idealistic socieaty, jut like in Star Trek coupled with a world where you still have to travel months to get to point A to point B, not Rim World slow, but still something where ppl "lag" between time as they travel...
