Bio/Backstory:

In search of thrills and excitement from an early age, Katria spent her teenage years as a fairly skilled pickpocket. After being caught in the act by a wandering sellsword—who recognized her potential—the two became close friends, and the man committed to helping Katria hone her martial abilities.

Within just a few years, Katria became adept with a number of weapons, including swords, daggers, and bows. Yearning for adventure, and now well equipped to handle the dangers of the world, she and her mentor tearfully but amicably parted ways. Not long after, Katria signed on with the pirate crew of the Morrow’s Light under Captain Salty-Fur.

Though Katria sometimes disagreed with the captain’s methods, the two developed a respect for one another, eventually leading to a companionship. Despite her young age and inexperience, Katria’s compassion, open-mindedness, and skills as a mediator earned her praise from the crew. Her ability to frequently steer the captain away from trouble culminated in her election as the ship’s quartermaster.
