It's astoundly successful whether you wanna be bigger or smaller; and is very safe from any devious corporate shrinkflation.
Small note (heh): the mini mushroom is the small micro thing in the Nintendo Mario series these days I believe, but to my big retro butt, the poison mushroom will remain the original shrinking shroom even if it varied in the games a lot. Generally, it focused on being a power down and removing your strength or other powerups, but only affected to about half the size rather than going micro. So here I just decide on pretty much that, and who doesn't love a fun sized chibi as a status anyway!?!
