This beautiful set came to be when I found myself in the craft section of a local store. Imagine that, me in the craft section...unheard of... Anyway, I spotted these pale green glass beads and instead of walking past like I normally would, I picked them up. In the next aisle I saw the shells and immediately searched through the bags to find just the right ones to go with the beads.

Once I got to sit down and sculpt these pieces I had all but set my mind to keep the entire theme within the green spectrum but I just couldn't find a shade I was happy with. I stared at the assortment of shells in front of me and focused on the mottled greens and browns in the one I wanted to use and it hit me... Go with the brown and keep everything earth-toned and organic feeling.

The pendant is approx. 2.5 inches long and hangs from a delicate string of those pale green glass beads that is approx. 16 inches. I will also include an 18 in. silver plated chain just in case something should happen to your bead string. I can't tell you how many times I've had beaded pieces break and been able to wear them again for lack of a new chain. I want you to have a back up.

The earrings hang approx. 2 inches but are relatively lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Into each piece in this set I have incorporated the beauty of both frosted and polished glass beads, natural sea shells, silver plated findings, and my own personal design in polymer clay. I also used the pearly powdered pigments to accent each piece. And of course my "Embrace" items wouldn't be complete without that added glow in the dark touch.
