When I went to Reno to visit my fiancee's parents, we flew standby. NEVER< EVER fly standby on a weekend. Much less a holiday weekend. We got bounced off five flights, resulting in a layover of just under nine hours. I'm afraid I got to be a bit of a pill for my lover/momma, but luckily, she was in a forgiving mood. ^^
