One night, after messing up with an experimental machine in a Pokemon Research lab while on cleaning duty, Alex rushes home sweating and feeling movements below his shirt.
After arriving, he pulls his shirt up a bit to reveal a cute mouse-like face! White fur was also spreading all over!

Alex's body quickly began mutating further. Head getting rounder, ears growing, nose getting tiny and cute, fingers fusing to create oven-mitt-like hands. He couldn't stop panting from all the changes, neither could his new face on his belly, that was also getting more round to match a Tandemaus' head.

As we all should know, Tandemaus is not a single creature, they are two mice-like creatures that count as ONE pokemon. If Alex is turning into one, it makes sense his body is splitting into two! Both faces look at the transformation in shock, but soon Alex realizes that the other head is not a new consciousness, he IS that other mouse too!

Legs sprouted from the top of the still conjoined head of the second mouse that used to be his belly, and what used the be his original pair of legs, slowly started to shrunk to be able to match actual Tandemaus legs, which would now be the second mouse's.

There was too much going on, and just when it seemed the transformation was over, he felt the flesh on his new butt starting to completely separate from the head of his second body, soon they would be independent, and at the same time, dependent on each other.
