Soliloquy of A Baby Playing “Got Your Nose”
You ever get an idea stuck in your head that's so silly it just won't leave? Well, I got the idea of a dramatic soliloquy worthy of Shakespeare, but instead of pondering mortality or love, why not... a baby playing "Got Your Nose"? The unformatted text of the pdf above follows:
Soliloquy of A Baby Playing “Got Your Nose”
Look upon me, poor, pitiable babe
By his dear mama doth be trapped within a game of "got your nose"
How did I come to this most bewildering of situations?
Before, all was joy and laughter
But now, I am left with this empty void where my nose should be
And yet, I see it not upon the face of my tormentor!
During, my mind doth race with confusion and fear
Where could my nose have gone?
Hath it been stolen, or hath it vanished into thin air?
And now, after, I am left to ponder the strange events of this game
As I sit here, noseless and perplexed
O, how I long for the return of my most prized feature
Alas, I am but a helpless and hapless babe
At the mercy of the whims and tricks of those around me
O, how I long for the understanding of this-- aha! ‘Tis there!
