The limits of my language are the limits of my mind. All I know is what I have words for. - Ludwig Wittgenstein, Philosophical Investigations, 1953

You might consider making your own TP icon to announce your story as such. Readers watch for this and will respond.
If you do to participate in the Thursday Prompt remember that is good form to read your fellow participants. If you wish to give a critique, ask if the writer wishes one and then send it along in a private note.
Always remember; we are all writers together.
This week’s prompt is going to be very different.
It is a brand-new year, and as a writer, you are to make up a brand-new word. You will then define it as it would be defined in the Merriam Webster dictionary.
And then, (please don’t give me heartburn for starting a sentence with a conjunction) you will use this word in a 365 word story. The dictionary type definition will not be counted as words in the story.
Example: I like using the word ‘snork’. I thought I made it up, but there it was; in the dictionary. For me, it defines the sound made in a sucking laugh, almost, but not quite like a loud, short form snore.
Snork noun
ˈsnȯ(ə)rk, ˈsnȯ(ə)k
plural -s
dialectal, England
: a snoring sound : snort

Done. Don't worry, doesn't have any of my usual gory stuff, so it's fine. In fact, it's completely clean. If anything, it could be a new term for D&D or some other TTRPG.

I was split on which invented word to use...one I've already made, or a totally new one?
I went with a new one.
