2023 is here, and that means it is the Year of the Rabbit.
So which special rabbit did I choose? I chose Basil Stag Hare from the 'Redwall' series.
Yes, yes, I know that Basil is a hare and not a rabbit. But... close enough.
And yes, Bunnymund did come to mind. But I wanted to draw a character that I haven't drew yet.
Anyway, Basil is enjoying his chance in the spotlight as this year's chosen representative.
Happy 2023, the year of the rabbit!

Yeah, but what’s even cooler is that if you combine that with my star sign, Cancer, you get the turtle. I learned that on a website I looked up where you can type in your birthdate and get the result just by combining your star sign with the year you were born, according to the Chinese Zodiac. I guess you could say I’m “certified turtle-fied!” 😅 Hehehehe, sorry… I’ll see myself out.
