I started this picture when I was pregnant with our first born. Once the pregnancy started to get more challenging I lost the energy to draw and finish this piece. This piece is so special to me, and now this evening I was inspired to finish it.

Here a mother wild dog soothes her newborn pup.

"A mother's prayer"

My sweet baby on loan from above
no better treasure could I more love
I stand here beside your bed as I pray
I lay my hand on your head and I say:

I stare in wonder at your tiny frame

for what you’re called to
