I am usually waiting for people to get out of my shot, but as I began snapping photos of this tree, it occurred to me that a couple of people standing in front would make a nice composition. It took a lot of waiting and quite a few throw-away images, but I finally got what I wanted.

Illuminations is a special holiday light show that is put on by Botanica, the botanical gardens in Wichita, Kansas. This is an annual event during the Christmas season. I went for the first time on December 29 to try my hand at some night photography. I hope you like these.
