i've got this one little story on one of my many backburners; a mostly kid-friendly seafaring adventure tale, full of fish-folk and sea deities.

this lovely lady, Anne Seaver (the Man-cleaver!), is a rough-and-tumble swashbuckler known for her brutal swordsmanship and her winning smile. she's one of many fearless marauders under the command of Cpn. Luisah Cesaire, and a welcome ally to my plucky kid protagonist.
