As a huge nerd, Wilford loves to read. Mostly, he loves comic books, but he also enjoys sci-fi and fantasy novels. He’s taken a huge liking to old pulp serials like the John Carter of Mars series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. What’s not to love? A daring warrior boldly fighting against alien creatures and wicked evildoers for the sake of the love of a scantily-clad princess? Reading about the handsome, musclebound protagonist makes Wilford wish that his strong, muscular werewolf form lasted longer than once a month. Sometimes, he daydreams of assuming the role of John Carter as a werewolf with a certain mink as his lovely princess Dejah Thoris. A wolf can dream, can he not?
