Zine-magazine, tage- vintage. Im so bloody clever.

Anyway, I just thought this looked interesting enough to share. Was laying the stencil over paper after I cut it.

I was digging the effect. Getting some ideas for using the color part for the negative space, and doing just the values in black. Not for this piece though.

put a piece of tracing vellum between the 2 and it will obscure the words. i love messing w/ opacity w/ stuff like this

Yeah! I was actually considering that for a future peice. I have a few ideas about using textured paper as well. huzzah!

Very sharp! My only critique would involve reconsidering where the arm goes. Currently, the arm looks like it's between flexing and having the elbow iconically bent behind the torso's profile.

The arm is not quite straight, and barely bent at all, which makes it appear a bit strange to me. It's as if the arm is resting the stomach, but it can't because the chest is out the furthest.

If you don't see it then don't worry about it, I guess.

It's really my issue with being able to portray perspective. (As we speak I have already cut and painted, yikes!) I can see what you're getting at, when I did this I was adding in value without lines so it was a little hard for me to.... kind of place everything. It is a bit off, but hey! Something else to get better at :)
