Eww Citadel paints. <hugs tightly> You really should give Vallejo or Reaper master series paints a try- you'l see a HUGE difference over the muddy stuff you're using there. Looks like a pretty nice paint setup otherwise- what sort of brushes are those?

And a little FYI- when it's my commission peices, I ONLY use Citadel inks... not the current stuff though- my ink pots are 20+ years old, back when they made quality paints instead of mid-entry-level )

GW aren't completely BAD paints.. but there's so much better- since you're just starting, I'm trying to get you into the good habits. GW's paints tend to be somewhat 'muddy' compared to a lot of others, and their pigments have larger particles, especially in the white. The slightly higher cost of Reaper master series, and Vallejos marginally higher yet, is worth it in quality.

I'll have to see if they sell those brands at the shop where I bought these pants at
