A 23-year old panthress who moved away from the big city to a jungle-like island in hopes for a new start. And she got one.
Gina was born into a family of felines successful in various fields. Both of her parents were very well off, allowing both her and her older sister (Mina) to attend private schools and have the ability to try and craft or hobby they so desired. Though Gina was skilled in most everything she set her paws onto, nothing really interested her as a proper career. As her older sister grew up and began a career in law, Mina constantly reminded Gina that she was too indecisive and would never be quite as successful in life as anyone else in their family. While her parents were supportive of both sisters, they also wanted Gina to find some sort of job that would make sure her name was well-known like her older sibling.
Deciding that she would rather be happy than successful in a career, Gina ultimately found a job as the head of a small company on a jungle island. Though it wasn't a flashy career, it paid more than well enough that she would be able to live peacefully...or so she thought. Turns out that jungle island life would end up slowly turning her into less of a sophisticated woman and more of a jungle panthress. Her first step off the small boat and across the dock lead to her stumbling into quicksand, luckily saved by her coworker and the only employee under her, Xylen.
As the two continued to work together, Xylen helped Gina grow accustomed to island life and the various difficulties with making any sort of deliveries when there were plenty of island hijinxs abound. Though thankful for the information and rescues from time to time, it was only when Xylen himself was saved by her that the two started growing a bit closer. With their delivery service being far too important for the island, and no creatures against it anyway, the two ended up dating, and over time, Gina started to find herself with similar interest in quicksand as her boyfriend...and later on, even being a bit more open in her sexuality.
Gina's the first of several characters I plan on unveiling this year, so look forward to more arts (and icon changes, in Gina's case) of many a creature!
