And now I have a deer character because  Y31 asked if I wanted one.

The answer was yes.

So introducing Jordan Jasper, journadeer extraordinaire!

She started off as just a kid in the newsroom. Running errands. Fetching coffee. Taking pictures. Saying "Gee whiz!" a lot because she was easily impressed. And most especially interviewing superheroes.

Superheroes tend to be more willing to humor cute little kids asking them a bunch of questions than someone with a hat that says "Press."

It was in this Jr Reporter capacity that she met Ballistic Gal. The young superhero took a shine to the deer and took her on as a sort of civilian sidekick.

Then Ballistic Gal vanished into a time warp for a while.

Not great but these things happen to superhero mentors.

Jordan focused on her first love of journalism and became an intrepid reporter! Maybe the finest in the city! Of course, print journalism isn't doing great so the newspaper she started at went under. But she's working at a very promising small paper, thank you!

She's a real smart cookie, real persistent when she finds a lead, annnd yes, a little bit goofy. Her idea of what normal is has been shifted by so much exposure to the superhero side of life.

For example: She has been to space three times before she turned 18.

And when Ballistic Gal reappeared on the scene, she was thrilled to see her old friend and mentor again. But quick to let her know that she wasn't a kid sidekick anymore. She's a mature adult who pays taxes. So many taxes.
