I thought I'd take a break from working on dogs to draw deer wolves instead! I've been enjoying this comic, Golden Shrike by doeprince(dunno how to link on FA), and when they introduced this super cool species, the Stonekrovn, I fell in love and desperately wanted to draw pups. So that's what I did! I'm not very great at deer, but at least it was fun! I almost left the left pup out because he's so gangly and un-aesthetic, but left him in anyway. I don't know if Stonekrovn would be born with teeth, but I guess I wanted an excuse to show the fangs on these deer.
This isn't a character from the comic, just a made up mother and twin newborn pups, being born in the approach of a late spring snow storm. I had a goal of doing some fan art this year, and just barely met the deadline, I suppose! Happy new year!
