This is my first attempt at posting a written work. I felt really inspired by this YCH I got from 
and decided to try my hand at fleshing out one of my OCs with a short work.
Yorick is my newest OC, so I have a lot of wiggle room with what I can do with him. He's a professor and archaeologist. A tiger with a love for exploring old ruins and learning about the past, he also carries a burden of his own. A ring passed down through his family bears a curse - a demon of shadow that replaces the wearer's shadow. Yorick seeks not only to uncover the secrets of the past, but find a way to remove the ring without dying and end the curse on his family.
