I've been working on writing a story for a little while, and something to keep it going. So, I've decided to start posting it in bi-weekly portions to keep me writing. Here's the fist taste of Ascent.

Ascent is a post-apocalyptic novel, set in the late 2030's, in the town of Amity. Amity is located on the north-eastern coast of North America. The Town was formed as a safe-haven from an impending world war, and isolated itself from all outside connections in an effort to safe-guard it's people and remain undetected during the conflict...

...I think.

I'm still working on the whole concept as time goes on, but I hope you enjoy the prologue that inspired the whole project. Let me know how I'm doing!
