A lizardfolk from the marshlands of west Midterrain. Growing up in a tribe that was controlled by a recently arrived black dragon, he always had a fascinated with humans and other civilized races. They seemed to proliferate everywhere despite having such soft skin and not having any claws. There must be a reason.
Later, the lizardfolk was the sole survivor of a small group attacked by werewolves. On the next full moon he got his first taste of emotions: rage, ambition, and sadism. They encouraged him to hunt much more than needed to sustain himself, and work his muscles to fatigue on nothing but destroying objects, and to eat any meat he got his hands on. After this rampage through the swamp others called him Kaldaka, which is draconic for Wolf.
After all this illogical action, Kaldaka found he had gotten much stronger. Literally built muscle and bulked up. Not realizing this would happen, Kaldaka credits this new found strength to the emotions he acted on. 'This must be why humans thrive. These emotions are instincts making them act on truths no one knows. I must learn more about these emotions.'
Kaldaka started answer the God Malar's calls for hunts regularly, which eventually grew to annoy the black dragon that controlled his tribe. Rather than face his wrath, the lizardfolk fought his way out and escaped the region.
Now he demanded random humans tell him were their strongest are. This has lead him to a major adventurers guild, where he plans to study emotions further.
