Here's a sketch I drew back at MFF last year. I was hanging out with a group in 
brianblackberry's room and we began talking about his Beyond Terra characters; specifically, his doe Mariah. After hearing about her backstory and how she came to be who she currently is, I was inspired to try drawing a pic of her in effort to combat a recent art block.
Since she was a gearhead, I decided to draw her with my own mechanic girl, Terarra. I'm not exactly sure what job requires wrenches like that, but you can be sure they know what they're doing :p
