Second project I had to do in my Computer Art class. We're learning Adobe Illustrator now, which feels very deja vu like. Way back in 2006 when my are was fan friggin tastic, I used a vector program very similar to Illustrator called Macromedia Freehand.
The idea was that I'd build character models so that when I make a flash series of Dark Earth (An older version of what is now Galactic Anthology), similar to the model I was building of Beta (Scrapped. Never noticed how much she's changed since then o.o). It was so I wouldn't have to redraw everything over and over again.
Tweens died off for flash movies, and even though I still believe they have their place, I noticed it was way easier going Frame by Frame than the tween motive I had in mind. So FBF won over (And I won't be called a total noob for using tweens either!)
However Vector programs, model building in particular, brings me back, so it's kind of painful working with this program, there was a reason I switched to Photoshop...
Nostalgia aside, I really enjoyed the outcome of this project. The words were donated from someone else in the class, originally I wanted the band to be named POSSOM BISCUITS (named after this little movie I did a long time ago). Turns out the teacher wanted us all to exchange names. Someone made Possum Biscuits into a dog treat which I found adorable.
Oh right, the cover... Well, here we have
Maiga - A tribal girl who wishes to see the world
Jake and Beta - Two robots that always go on adventure
Myself - I'm derping along the other side of the car
aaaand Andrew - Holding onto the rope and crying like a baby. Probably afraid of heights.
Together they are THE OOONE WAAAY ROOOAD! (Aren't most roads one way?) selling their best hit album, No where to go but UP! The girl who made these names apparently always thought it'd be a cool idea to make a band with her friends, but never learned any instruments. Still, it was a dream of hers and so she wanted to make a band to commemorate the inside joke. A shame she didn't get the chance :(
I'm wrapping up. This description is far too long.

PS: What kind of songs do you think they make? ;)
