The oceans on Veridios are only about 40m deep, limiting the size of the ocean life. This also means that plantlife flourishes which is what gives the ocean its green hue.

Tecton's most noticeable feature is the huge geyser in its northern hemisphere. It is thought that the geyser is what gave Veridios its water, since Tecton's mantle is made mostly of water and ice.
The geyser is known as Teshi and only erupts once every rotation around the sun, often causing a great, week long rainstorm on Veridios.

Tropic-2782 is an old station that has been turned into a kind of resort (though not nearly as popular as the many resorts on the surface of Veridios). It is home to the second largest shopping center in the system (the largest being the Bazaar on Tivar). It is also where the classic Veridios swimsuits are manufactured
