And here it is, that story I was hyping up for a while. This story is very personal to me, as it's going to take some very personal inspiration from my own life. This is basically going to be a retelling of my study abroad program but in a fictional world. The world kind of works like the reverse of Buddyfight, where humans go to the monster world. In this case, the two worlds are already well-established. But yeah, it's a merging of those two ideas, and I understand that this can open up some potential racist depictions, but I am currently being very careful of that. There are some stories where discriminatory things DID happen, but I will not be including those because I simply don't believe those would be appropriate.

Also, for anyone curious about the title, it's a play on the Chinese phrase of the exact same name, 龙的传人, which is in reference to Han Chinese people (Idk the history behind why Han Chinese people are considered descendants of dragons, my guess is Fu Xi, but I'm not that knowledgeable on Chinese deities). I already decided on making everyone except the main character (from U.S.) a dragon, so I just thought the name fit as a funny parallel.

Tone-wise, I'm going to try leaning into comedy/slice-of-life, though there are going to be some serious moments I want to include. I'll try to write it so it's not like Loss from Ctrl+Alt+Del where it's absolutely jarring, but I'm also very new to this kind of genre. I hope that it is a good one, and I hope you all enjoy!
