Cute, so do you just draw them in 500X500 with 72 dpi and just shrink it? I tried that before and it screwed up the image is there a specific way to shrink it down?

I do everything at 300dpi, tho for things that won't be printed I don't suppose it matters all that much. I still use photoshop for this part of my art, and I'll flatten the whole image, discard unused layers, then go into the image size to shrink it down to 100x100. To use as an icon on most web sites, I'll go through the specific "save for web" feature as it seems to make the best of compressing the image at a manageable size without losing too much of its color and detail.
