From the kitchens of
StripeKazama we have an appetizing seafood delight just waiting to be put together in your own kitchen.
Pretty awesome appetizer I made for this New Year. My housemates seemed to like it alot. ^^.
For 12 Seashells.
Ingredients:
12. Butterdough 'bowls' (The ones I used was pre-baked in the store as I couldn't be bothered to look up how to make them myself :P.)
10 dl Créme fraiche
1 lemon.
Lots of Dill
12 slices of Smoked Salmon
300g of shrimp
How to[/]
1. Mix together the juice of one lemon into a bowl filled with all the Créme fraiche. Chop the dill nicely and add to the mix.
2. Chop most of the shrimp (leave some aside for decoration later) and add to the mixture. Put the mixture in the fridge.
3. Lay out the butterdough 'bowls' on a tray or plate or whatever. Take a piece of the salmon and lay it against a 'wall' in the butterdough, do this with every 'bowl'.
4. Take out the mixture from the fridge and optionally chop any leftover salmon to fine pieces and add to it. Lay two spoonfuls of the mixture in each 'bowl'.
5. Decorate with the rest of the shrimp and if possible, some lemon too.
(Fun Fact: The Butterdough 'Bowls' I bought in store are sea shell-shaped.
