Im actually so proud of this piece because i achieved something that i usually can never do: create an environment and story. Theres clearly an interaction between the cat and dog and the background contains just enough to communicate a room. I think the restricted color palette helped create a feeling more than anything. The only thing i wish i did was go back to my sketchier style, lineart is incredibly difficult for me and really time consuming. i might redo this piece someday tho!
