Duncan swore that the first time he met a floragato in person he would ask them to teach him a new yo-yo trick and wouldn't you know, the first one he asked, named Florel said she would be happy to teach him a favorite trick of hers. Duncan had been given a Duncan brand yo-yo years ago as a sort of joke gift and he never so much as learned more than one trick, he learned it well and he can do it when nobody is looking but had trouble whenever showing someone. He ran home and got out this yo-yo from a drawer, quickly practiced his one trick he knew and he did it perfectly so went to show it off. Florel watched as he set up and tried to do "rock the baby" twice, she then did it without looking. On the third try he nailed it perfectly. Floragato was impressed in his interest more than his skill and showed him where he was trying too hard to do that trick and then said she would teach him a trick called "around the world".
