So I've decided I'm gonna simplify his name to just "Gene".

Gene has complete power over anything he is able to bubble. He can change the dna of something or evolve it to the point of having human intelligence. From when he was a kid he's had a friend that was just a bee he found almost dead in the school courtyard.
