What else to start a new sketchbook with, if not your character?👀

Real life takes too much time and energy, and rarely can I catch time on the drawings. Yet another traditional piece I've made back in September. As my character changes and transforms over time, she also looks different from picture to picture - I still try to get the whole image. It was fun to try out the new paper format (9"X12") and play with colors. I'm not very satisfied how pencils lay on that kind of paper though - probably I will use markers or watercolor next time.
