Groaning some after being woken up by some knocking at his door, the Diggersby Cedric scratched at his belly sash before getting up out of his bed. A wide yawn coming out as he opened up the door and quickly found a smaller body pressing against him. Looking down, he saw the familiar body of his godson and noticed the distressed look in his face. “Tybalt…what’s going on? What happened.”

“I’m…sorry for waking you Cedric. I just…I just don’t want to be alone right now.”

Nodding some, he ushers the Buizel inside and closes the door behind him. Watching Tybalt walk, Cedric could see that he was shuddering with every step he took until he got onto the bed. Cedric got on it behind him and gently pulled him against his soft belly. “You don’t have to apologize to me. Just tell me what’s going on.”

“I had a nightmare Cedric. That guys that attacks my home that day. It was like I was there again. B-but…this time one of them caught me. I couldn’t even see my dad. And the guy… he t-tried to…”
Pulling the Buizel’s head against his chest, Cedric started petting over his head and rubbing his back at the same time. Tears started to stream down Tybalt’s face as he just snuggled into that warm fur. “Shhh shhhh. It’s alright Ty-Ty. I’ve got you and will keep you safe.”

“Cedric…d-do you think my dad is still alive? Please, I need to know!”

The Diggersby very much looked saddened by the question. Of course it was something plagued him as well, Romeo being his closest friend after all. However, the turbulent situation of the war and hitmen likely looking for Tybalt as well made striking out to find answers almost impossible. For now, he just held onto the Buizel tight, allowing him to weep into his soft fur until he was able to tire himself out.
