Even as Duncan said it, Tik had to think about where he had heard those words before. Of course he just gave his buddy Duncan the watch he wanted, the one that puts the riolu on its face into the funniest poses over the course of the day. He was lucky to get one before they sold out at the Pokemon Shop. Still the words "Thanks for the watch" sounded oddly familiar somehow.

Most of us will have a merry Christmas, it looks like I will even get a white Christmas with this coming snow storm. But this year, Christmas in Ukraine will be observed under the long shadow cast by war. Consider lighting a candle for Ukraine or borrow a Ukrainian tradition, leave an extra place at the table for a stranger who might wander unexpectedly into your home from outside. Even better, if there’s room in your heart, consider making a donation to one of the organizations contributing to the defense of the Ukrainian homeland or to some of her furs in need in our little community.
