Spegz and Spegz Jr were the mother and offspring Kaiju who appear in Ep.29 of the Fireman TV series, "Don't Shoot! Even though he is still a Monster, he's my friend!"; they serve as the 32nd and 33rd Monsters in the show's order of appearance.

_Bios and Abilities_
Spegz was a carnivorous Alien Kaiju that came to Earth millions of years ago to settle down, in which time had an offspring, Spegz Jr. Unlike other Kaiju, Spegz wasn't malevolent, causing destruction mostly by chance and does not become violent until its Baby was killed. It had Toxic Smoke, Tail Whip and strength as its only weapons. It's suit was modified from Destrosaurus, of Ep.22.

Spegz Jr was the offspring of Spegz who was found by a Child and Umino. Been a new born, it had no powers and was not strong to defend itself from any attack, a fact that leads to its death at the hands of Factory Workers, becoming the only Kaiju in the series not killed by of either Fireman or SAF. Much like its parent, it was also a meat eater, as it eat all the animal subjects in a lab.

_History_
A group of Children are playing as Monster Hunters at the site of a Factory when an earthquake strikes, with the Kaiju Spegz emerging and going on a rampage, searching and calling out; one of the Children tries to have a close look when he is stops by Captain Umino, who later calls for re-enforcement. Meanwhile some factory workers try to take cover with one of them firing at the beast – as the MarineGo flies around, Misaki notices the creature is searching; Spegz then burrows underground and disappears. The Mogurian is launched to go after the beast, but later returns with a piece of metal that seem to indicate alien origin, providing the knowledge the new Kaiju is not of Earth.

A bit later, Umino recieves the visit of the same boy as before, and gives him a tour of the lab where he see the animals and allows him to take care of them. However, a bit later, when the Boy returns, he finds the entire lab ransack and the animal subjects missing and their cages destroyed; he sees foot prints in the dirt cover ground and follows them to a cave were he finds the culprit, the baby Kaiju Spegz Jr. The Child beats the infant Kaiju for the animals it ate, but is stop by Umino who teaches the boy the Kaiju is lost, hungry and perhaps more terrified of him than the boy of it (I assume as much; sadly, I'm back to subbed-less episodes, so a lotta guessing here).

Umino takes the Kaiju along with the child and reunites with Mizuchima and Mariko at the factory grounds, but stumble upon the workers, with pipes and weapons demanding the baby Kaiju. A scuffle ensues, where the outnumber SAF agents are pinned down by the mob while another portion pf it beats the Baby – the boy trying to save the infant, ends up tripping the mob leader, misfires his gun, hitting and killing Spegz Jr, its last cries making its mother emerge from the ground, who immediately goes on a rampage. Misaki arrives on the MarineGo but the aircraft is shutdown by the Kaiju's Toxic Smoke; Misaki then transforms into Fireman to confront the Beast.

During the Battle, Fireman smacks the Kaiju, though this responds in aggression blasting its Toxic Smoke and been beaten by its tail whip. However, Fireman recovers and after knocking the beast with a flying kick, he impales the monster with its Fire Jack (a piercing staff); Fireman then takes the chance to finish Spegz off with a Fire Flash, blasting its head off, ending its rampage.

Time later, the Boy is next to a tombstone for Spegz Jr, laying a small offering, with Umino and Misaki close by.
